Burying the
pipe

In this shot the
pipe is straight and the final level has been set. In
the foreground is our stake that we marked with the final
height of the pipe as it reached the house envelope. You can
see how we have shoveled dirt from the side of the trench
under the pipe to reach the correct slope along the distance
of the trench.

| Finally, the excavator makes a quick pass
to cover the trench. You can see how we have shovelled a
significant amount of dirt into the trench in order to pin the
pipe and prevent it from shifting as the excavator moves large
amounts of dirt into the trench. |
